Sunday, sunday - what to do? Go out for breakfast or lunch or just slob around? The temptation of a delicious sunday lunch at Nik's Bar in Dobrich (the one near Elhovo) won the day!
So off we went, Nik's is around a 30 minute drive from my village, I fairly clock up some mileage in Bulgaria as do most people as things tend to be a bit spread out in rural areas. The coast is obviously different, especially in season, more people and more places much closer together.
Had a lovely lunch thanks to Ellen & Nick Buchanan the Scottish couple who have run this particular bar/diner for 2 years. Met a couple of friends, from the ladies that lunch group (we have monthly get togethers), that I hadn't seen for a while and lazed away another afternoon enjoying the sunshine and chatting with friends. Its still warm enough most afternoons to eat outside which is just great.
Heard from the agent re the flat at the coast I have been trying to buy but no success so far, seller not willing to accept my offer so have increased it slightly but not by much and will play the waiting game for another day or two. It is still a buyers' market here but deals are getting harder to find at the coast as most of the real bargain property has been snapped up and prices are slowly on the increase. Village property is a bit different with still plenty of bargains around if you look.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
